Before going into the regular post, I'll first say this: Trees.
Trees are the topic of this "challenge." A drawing of trees, in cartoon form, realistic, cubist, whatever. One lonely tree or an entire forest, put a tree in there.
Again, the rules are to send me a picture of your drawing. I'll judge them all. The deadline is this day next week, so May 19th.

Challenges. They effin crazy.
Another night consequence of those from last week. Staying up, sleepless for hours, just to semi-complete an assignment that I turn in late for Graphic Design. It's not that I didn't like the class, it's that I have issues. Procrastination issues to be exact.
I have always had them, all my life. And now they came back to bite me, making me feel pretty darn bad. Dude, you know what sucks? You impeding yourself from being awesome. That's one of the worst feelings anyone can have. Sitting there, looking at the disaster that is your room, saying "Geez dude. How? How did you get this far?" To put the cherry on top, after I turned in my portfolio, I come back home to sleep; in my desk, I find a sheet I had to turn in with it that pointed which work I had redone. That's when my lifeless body fell on the bed. Shit.
Anyway, I have plans to rework on myself this summer. Giving myself goddamn challenges. This is an idea I have had for a while and YOU can participate. I will be posting weekly sort-of-challenges for drawing, reading, writing, etc. You can partake on those. Submit to me your drawings or piece of writings, or whatever we come up with and at the end of the week I'll evaluate them all and draw a winner. I'll be fair and post all the work so you can tell me wether you agree or disagree. To whomever wins, I'll buy you some food, mission burrito or something. We'll figure it out.
So, it goes like this. I post theme or challenge, e.g, this week we are drawing fountains. Then you go, draw a fountain any way you like, submit it to me and after a day or two I will post the results.
I'll also be reading a book or two per week. I'll post here which and you can read them also. By the end of the week, we can them discuss them.
